I will cut to the chase: the Teeter EZ Up Gravity Boots are awesome. I have been using them for a while now and feel a big difference in my back pain. They have leveled up my stretching and recovery efforts after I’ve been sitting for a while.
If you are interested in trying inversion therapy and have your doctor’s approval, these boots are the way to go.
Let’s get into it.
What are Gravity Boots?
Gravity Boots are ankle attachments that let you hang upside down on your power rack or pull-up bar.
Gravity Boots are used as part of Inversion Therapy, a recovery practice where you hang upside down to help stretch out and relax parts of the body that you can’t otherwise. Inversion therapy can be great for your spine and hips.
Do Teeter EZ Up Gravity Boots Work in a Home Gym?
In a home gym, space efficiency is so important. Luckily, the Gravity Boots are small and easy to hang on the wall when not in use. They take up much less space than something like an inversion table would.
Each one weighs about two pounds, so they are super portable.
Are Teeter EZ Up Gravity Boots Comfortable and Safe?
The two-buckle ratcheting system locks you in and is super secure so you can’t slide around while using the boots.
They also provide calf support, which helps take the pressure off your ankles. Inversion therapy can be uncomfortable for your calves and feet when you first start, so I appreciate the comfort of this design.
Furthermore, the built-in calf loops automatically give a two-degree bend in your knees, which helps reduce the load on your knees and feet.
This brand makes it super easy to use these boots, as they have a step-by-step video tutorial showing how to put them on and off, and each boot is even labeled “Left” and “Right” so you can’t mess it up.
Finally, the Gravity Boots feature a great grip point that helps you get out of the boots in case you’re not able to do an inverted sit-up. To make things even easier, I hang a strong resistance band next to me so I can climb up with my arms to come back up and out.
What Size and Weight Can The Teeter EZ Up Gravity Boots Support?
The regular size gravity boots accommodate calf sizes up to 16 inches. I have 17-inch calves and I use these boots comfortably, but they do make a larger size.
The boots are made of an alloy that is rated for up to 300 pounds.
How Much do Teeter EZ Up Gravity Boots Cost?
The Teeter EZ Up Gravity Boots retail for $99 on Amazon.
I use mine at least once weekly, and they have held up well. I enjoy using these boots, and they help my back pain, so I think they are worth the price.
