The Bob and Brad C2 Massager Unboxing is now available on YouTube! I go through my initial impressions of the Bob and Brad C2 Massager right after taking it out of the box!
What I Like
- Lightweight – According to the Bob and Brad website, the C2 Massager is only 1.5lbs, easy to carry anywhere, and easy to pack into any gym bag”. Since I train at home, I’m not interested in packing it into a gym bag but I DO love the fact that I can take it along with me to work so I can use it as part of post workout recovery. I’ve already taken it with me and used it periodically during my shift at work to help get the knots out and relax my muscles to get rid of all Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) and get me ready for the next day.
- Compact – The C2 Massager is a fraction of the size of my other massager. I put the two massage guns next to each other and the size difference is easy to see. That again enhances its portability. I carry a go bag with everything I will need while I’m out of the house and on the days when I train and then have to leave the house, it’s easy to slide the massage gun into the backpack and take it with me anywhere I’m going. I can also stick it in my SUV under a seat or in the storage behind the passenger seat to use for after one of our long drives to get to a livestream. For example, we’re heading to Arkansas to livestream Static Monsters 2022 and I’m definitely taking the massage gun with me to bring me back to life after being stuck in the car for eight plus hours!
- Quiet – My other massage gun sounds like an old electric typewriter and that limits how I can use it since I don’t want to disturb my wife, whose home office is right on the other side of the wall from our garage gym. As you can hear in the Bob and Brad C2 Massager Unboxing video on YouTube, the C2 massage gun is EXTREMELY quiet! I was experiencing some shoulder tightness that was bad enough to wake me up at 1 am and I had no issues with heading into my garage gym and using the C2 to release the tightness and allow me to get back to bed.
- Five Massage Heads – I like the variety of massage heads and so far I’ve used all of them, although I do have two that get used more than the others.
What I Don’t Like
- Controls Are Imprecise – My old massager has a rotating dial on the side that allows me to adjust the intensity settings with my thumb while using the massage gun. The C2 Massager controls are in the butt of the handle and as I’m still getting used to it, it’s a little tricky to adjust. Moreover, unlike my old massage gun, I can’t go up and down in intensity. Instead, with the C2 massage gun, I can only go up in intensity. Once you reach the highest intensity setting, clicking the adjustment button, turns the unit off so then I have to turn it off and back on again to go from the five speed setting back down to one.
