Brands I Trust When Buying Home Gym Equipment

These are brands I trust when buying home gym equipment. Many of these brands are small mom and pop shops but the main reason these brands are on this list is because they make high quality, durable equipment and because they go out of their way to take care of their customers. When you’re buying home gym equipment, it’s important to buy from brands that are reputable with good customer service and that have products that will last a long time with minimal need for maintenance. Some of these are affiliate links and by clicking on them, you’ll support this website and make it possible for me to continue to provide you with the highest quality information to help you build your home gym.

Crandall Fitness Equipment

Shaun Crandall is a home gym owner and he’s been supplying high quality equipment to military bases and local government facilities as well as helping home gym owners outfit their garages, basements, barns and spare bedrooms. I own several pieces of Crandall Fitness Equipment in my home gym including the Crandall Fitness Monolift Arms which are essential for allowing me to bench press safely when I train alone, and my wife is in love with her Crandall Fitness Women’s Cerakote Barbell. In fact, in my opinion, the Crandall Fitness Adjustable Bench is one of the most durable and lightweight adjustable benches on the market and it’s the first choice I recommend to anyone. Buy one and leave it to your grandkids to leave to their grandkids. I love that their power racks are modular and compatible with attachments from most manufacturers, but most of all, I think that Crandall Fitness has a commitment to customer service that is second to none. If you have an equipment problem and you reach out, Shaun Crandall is likely to be the one answering the phone or your DM on Instagram and he’s available at some of the oddest times of the day, willing to talk shop with you or handle your equipment needs.

Exponent Edge

Jay Benoit founded Exponent Edge to provide solutions to home gym owners who need quality home gym equipment for small spaces. Jay has a home gym that’s only 180 square feet so he understands the need for space saving home gym equipment. Exponent Edge is the manufacturer of the Infinity Bench, which is one of the most exciting pieces of home gym equipment that I’ve ever seen. This bench adjusts to multiple configurations to allow you to do overhead dumbbell work without running into the bench and it’s sturdy enough to support more weight than most of us will ever dream of lifting. He also has rack and wall mounted versions of a Glute Ham Developer so you’re not taking up precious floor space. The Exponent Edge Flex Wedge Calf Raise Block is one of my favorite pieces of home gym equipment and I use it for everything from deficit deadlifts to foot elevated Bulgarian Split Squats. If you’re looking for a dependable and safe calf raise solution, The Flex Wedge and Calf Cups make an unbeatable Calf Blasting Bundle that you won’t find at the big name brands.

Freedom Fitness Equipment

Freedom Fitness Equipment is your one stop shop for buying used or new home gym equipment. Freedom Fitness is an authorized dealer for several big name brands, including Body-Solid and others that you can normally only find online. Ashton Ferrazzo, the owner of Freedom Fitness, is a home gym owner himself and Freedom Fitness is one of the largest suppliers of home gym flooring in the United States. Not only can Freedom Fitness fulfill your home gym needs from cardio equipment to free weights, but Ashton, is more than willing to consult with you to help you pick out equipment if you’re not sure what you need. I love that he’s got the heart of a teacher and is willing to walk with you every step of the way to help you create the best gym in town right there in the comfort and privacy of your home.

Gorilla Strength Equipment

Gorilla Strength Equipment is a small family owned business in Leitchfield, KY that manufactures specialty bars and grip tools. They are the makers of the original Ledge Lift, a grip tool for climbing enthusiasts and the makers of the only 45lb Knurled Axle Bar. They also make the Shin Saver Bar, the only adjustable Tib Raise device made especially for Olympic weight plates with 1 inch holes. You can check out their website, but your best bet is to contact David directly by calling him at (270) 287-3853.
