The RitFit PHM01 Hip Thrust Machine is a simple, easy to store way to perform hip thrusts, glute bridges and several other exercises in your home gym. This device checks multiple key boxes to allow you to get your training done at home without using up a lot of valuable floor space when it’s not in use.
Why You Need This
Glute bridges and hip thrusts are a great way to activate and strengthen your glutes to improve posture, alleviate back pain and can lead to improved athletic performance in multiple sports. If you want to squat heavier, jump higher, sprint faster and look good in a pair of jeans, then hip thrusts and glute bridges on a bench are your new friend. The problem is glute bridges are best done sitting on the floor with your back supported by something and a dedicated hip thrust bench is a better option than other things you may have tried like sitting perpendicular to an adjustable bench. You can also sit with your back against a barbell mounted in J cups near the bottom of a power rack but what if you only have one barbell? This hip thrust bench from RitFit solves all of those issues while allowing you to perform foot elevated Bulgarian Split Squats, Box Squats, Deadlifts, Romanian Deadlifts, Banded Good Mornings, Band Resisted Deadlifts and several other movements in addition to glute bridges and hip thrusts.

Pros and Cons
My wife has been using the RitFit PHM01 Hip Thrust Machine for a couple of months and she absolutely LOVES it! She’s a big fan of the height of the pad because it’s perfect for her torso length and she feels that the length of the training platform is perfect for everything she needs to do. She’s been able to use the included band pegs to add resistance to several barbell movements and she’s also used resistance bands by themselves to get in some good training.
Where the machine stumbles is the height of the handle needs to be elevated slightly to make it easier to pick up from the floor, there needs to be an reinforcing strip across the top of the pad so it can be stored vertically without damaging the back of the pad and my wife thought that it would be a great idea if the pad height was adjustable to accommodate multiple torso heights.
